Eat in Ko Samui
Art Cafe by June - lovely Thai owned cafe in Bohput, organic brown rice, home made bread and the most delicious granola you ever tasted. Western & Thai fusion. Everything is made with love and you can feel it. The green juice is the best on the island.
Spa Samui - it is the most traditional place for detox and clean eating on the island. Beach front, it's a very quiet place, with a large menu with vast vegan and raw food options, western and Thai food. No MSG. Very friendly staff
Sweet Sisters - they recently had an upgrade of the menu, Western & Thai fusion. Best fish cakes on the island, delicious deserts and cookies. They also have a lovely organic shop. Prices are almost European, and the quality is high
Vikasa Life Cafe - Breathtaking sea view, lovely location and chilled atmosphere. The menu is healthy and delicious, with loads of raw food and vegan options. They also have a buffet, please check the times on their website. Friendly staff and a tiny organic shop right in front. They also have Gypsy Amazon leggins in their shop!
Lamphu - the best energy balls on the island. A nice organic shop with all you might need to make your staying in Thailand as healthy as possible. The menu is small, I recommend the fried sweet potato and the green soup if you are not too hungry. Coffe is great, so are the juice options.
Road Less Travelled - very charming and cozy atmosphere, the owners are inspiring, and so is the place. Is the best coffee on the island. The breakfast boards and salads are delicious and portions are large. They have a small art gallery on the third floor, and offer drama classes every week. If you like healthy food and cocktails, that is the place to go.
Greenlight Cafe and Bar - located in a small boutique resort, in Fisherman's Village it has a nice atmosphere. A variety of smoothies and vegan options. They also offer a breakfast buffet.
Wild Tribe - very cute, open restaurant in Lamai, nice menu for vegetarians with lovely breakfast options.
Fisherman's cafe - excellent coffe and breakfast options. My favourites are the smoothie bowl, and the roasted pumpking with salad and poached egg on toast with home made pesto. The almond croissant is not in the healthy list, but it tastes like Paris ;)
Yogarden - the restaurant is actually inside a small yoga studio, but the breakfast options are delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and sweet. I love the fruit, yogurt and granola, and the avocado wrap. No sugar, but honey for your coffee. Please check opening hours on their website.
